Please pray for Julie and her family as Julie's younger sister, Carla, passed away August, 26. She died of cancer. Carla's two children, ages 9 and 13, will be living with Julie's parents in St. Louis.

Please pray for my mother who is having major surgery this week...and another major surgery (open heart) in December.
I had a wonderful trip to the cardiologist yesterday. She is not going to increase my beta blocker because I am doing so well. I am glad because frankly it was making feel very rundown.
My ejection fraction in August was 45%. The echocardiogram a couple of weeks ago showed that it is now 60%. 58% or more is where it should be.
Of course, the weight ost of about a pound per week since the heart catheterization is a factor.
I don't have to return to the cardiologist for another six months.
